This event is in the past.
Join us on Friday 13 April, meet our members, and hear Steve Cook speak about his recent experience in his business, Signs Australia.
TOPIC: The Evolution of Signs Australia
Signs Australia is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, and was created as Steve travelled around Australia making signs. He started outback in October 1988 after completing three large bridge murals at World Expo ’88 then heading west out to regional & rural communities such as Cunnamulla, Thargomindah, Quilpie etc. The business model got underway in the mid 90s, setting up to regularly service western Qld , NSW and the NT working for corporations such as News Corp, TAB, API, and Blackwood’s Tooheys, just to name a few.
Many experiences took place over the years travelling through the bush, enough to write a book. Even two!
Steve Cook is a sign writer and specialises in project managing and advising on building and premises re-branding for small and large businesses across Australia which are in growth mode. He is best known for his depth and breadth of experience in the industry across all technologies old and new, his practical approach to finding and creating the right signage (and sometimes structural) solutions for every client, and his easy rapport. Steve takes as much pride in your signage as you do in your business.
